Herman Cain: “Amazing Grace” Shall Always Be My Song of Praise But I’m Not Singing That Song Today for Some Reason

Herman Cain Sings - Amazing Grace Shall Always Be My Song of Praise But I'm Not Singing That Song Today for Some Reason

“Jesus loves me, yes I know, ‘cause the Bible tells me so.” That’s appears to be what Herman Cain keeps telling himself even in the wake of the recent news about his former sexual harassment allegations. Well, actually he’s not just telling himself that, he’s singing it to the National Press Club.

After denying that the sexual harassment allegations even existed while explaining that he recused himself from the Magical Mystery Investigation that took place in Never Never Land, Cain met with the Press Club and charmed the figurative pants off them with his heart-warming rendition of a Christian song called “He Looked Beyond My Fault” which is totally NOT “Amazing Grace”:

Amazing Grace shall always be my song of praise, for it was grace that brought my liberty. I’ll never know just why Jesus came to love me so. He looked beyond all my fault and saw my need.

Don’t ya love how Jesus is always there when you’re caught in the middle of a sex scandal that never happen? Amazing!

And what a guy to look beyond your “fault” at not knowing that your lawyers were paying off those hoes with five figure dollar amounts.

As for your need, well, we all got “needs” right? Even the Jeez-meister. Right? Huh? Am I right?

No worries, man. Jesus got your back!
