Fox News vs Maroon 5 and Adam Levine: Epic Saga in Summary

Fox News vs Maroon 5 and Adam Levine - Epic Saga in Summary

As much as any band can probably understand Maroon 5’s horror at hearing their hard work blasting from the pits of Fox News hell, said bands must be prepared for the much deserved backlash when they tweet their outrage to Internet-verse. Enter Adam Levine, frontman for Maroon 5 who tweeted this from his Echofon on Wednesday:

Dear Fox News, don’t play our music on your evil fucking channel ever again. Thank you.

Well, needless to say, Fox News got the message but their response wasn’t what Levine or Maroon 5 was hoping for.

Greg Gutfeld, host of Fox News’ Red Eye tweeted back, “Dear Adam, that’s not music,” while another Red Eye guy, Andy Levy, cracked, “Dear @AdamLevine, don’t make crappy fucking music ever again. Thank you.”

Honestly, that’s kinda funny. It’s good to know that Fox News sets such high standards for even the minutest details of their programming. Nothing escapes their scrutiny. Not even the crappy fucking music.

Well, except maybe one piece of crappy fucking music, according to Spin Magazine who was under the impression that “Levy must have been referring to the improbable smash ‘Moves Like Jagger,’ which has dominated Billboard’s singles charts despite being really awful.”

No, Spin. The Red Eye guys were referring to Sunday Morning!!! WTF?! I know, right?

Anyway, if you haven’t heard “Moves Like Jagger,” here it is (NSFW):
