Rep. Louie Gohmert (R-TX) hasn’t officially opened any new positions within his offices in regards to writing titles for job acts, but if the name of his recent job act is any indication he might need some help. Gohmert introduced today his “American Jobs Act” — not to be confused with President Obama’s “American Jobs Act” which was introduced to the American people last Thursday.
Although, Obama did not formerly submit his bill to Congress yet, the American people are under the impression that the American Jobs Act is the act that was presented to the nation by the president in full detail on Thursday and is now being discussed widely on television, radio and online as the president’s bill.
But stunt master extraordinaire Lou Gohmert is not concerned with sanity of the American people. He’d rather confuse the hell out of them for the sake of political games and a horrible Abbot and Costello routine:
ABBOT: So do you support the American Jobs Act?
COSTELLO: No, I support the American Jobs Act!
ABBOT: That’s what I asked!
COSTELLO: No, you asked if I supported the American Jobs Act!
