And if you thought Obama was a pushover, get a load of this next little exchange regarding her previous comments about being submissive to her husband. Gregory first played a clip of her previous comments:

CLIP – “My husband said, ‘Now you need to go and get a post-doctorate degree in tax-law.’ Tax-law! I hate taxes – why should I go and do something like that? But the Lord said, ‘Be submissive, wives, you are to be submissive to your husbands.’”

GREGORY: Is that your view for women in America. Is that your vision for them?

BACHMANN: Well, during the debate I was asked a question about this and my response was that submission means respect. It means that I respect my husband and he respects me.

GREGORY: Congresswomen, I don’t even have to check with my wife to know that those two things aren’t equal.

BACHMANN: What’s that?

GREGORY: Submission and respect.

BACHMANN: Well in our house it is.

It is in the White House too so you’ll fit right in.

The conversation then steered more directly toward God and then interestingly enough directly at atheism. Gregory wanted to know if Bachmann were president would she be willing to appoint an openly atheist individual to be a member of her administration, cabinet or federal court.

BACHMANN: My criteria would be, first of all, how do you view the constitution? If you uphold the constitution, if you’re competent and if you share my views then you could get appointed.

So the short answer would be, “Jesus no!” And, “May God have mercy on your soul!”
