Unfortunately, Santorum’s superficial appearance or “illusion of something” broke down like a Hollywood facade when what started out as a typical interview question for him was given an unexpected response. Santurom appeared to fold under intense examination regarding his comment on how “Mitt Romney is the worst Republican in the country to take on President Obama”. When asked, the GOP presidential candidate grew frustrated accusing both the media and his opponent Romney of taking his words out of context (uhhh, you would think Romney of all people wouldn’t do that…correction shouldn’t do that).
Moreover, Santorum has needed a lot of clarifying lately, with recent comments like his insinuation of how Obama would be a better choice than Romney (the Obama administration may be secretly high-fiving each other for that one) to him saying that the “unemployment rate will not affect his campaign” (oh yeah, he has lost it!).
Regrettably, Romney spokesperson Ryan Williams is telling reporters, “Rick Santorum is becoming more desperate and angry and unhinged every day…He’s panicking in the final stages of his campaign.”
This latest outburst by Santorum acts as more of a validation rather than a rejection to the claims and perhaps a sign that he could be in a state of disrepair…but if it is true…only time will tell!
