“Don’t Re-Nig in 2012” Racist Misspelling Totally Ruins Bumper Sticker Message

Racist Misspelling Don’t Re-Nig in 2012 Totally Ruins the Real MessageThe Dumb Arses at Stumpy Stickers
Poor Stumpy Stickers. The company that issued the racist Obama bumper sticker “Don’t Re-Nig in 2012” made a huge mistake. All they were trying to say with their cute little bumper sticker was “Don’t Renege in 2012,” meaning don’t go back on a promise, undertaking, or contract.

When they ordered their stickers from Stupid Is As Stupid Does Printing, they continually tried to reiterate on the phone the message they wanted emblazoned on their bumper stickers:

STUMPY: Don’t Re-NEG… neg…

STUPID: Nig?

STUMPY: No, NEG! NEG!

STUPID: Nig?

STUMPY: NOT NIG, NEG! We’re not racists!

STUPID: What?

STUMPY: We’re trying to send a message to voters not to renege on Obama and his promise of hope in 2012.

STUPID: So let me get this straight. You want to send a message that hopefully voters will promise not to re-nig Obama in 2012.

STUMPY: Fine. Yes. That’s what we want.

Yeah right, that conversation never happened. It only happened in my head where I try desperately to reason through the unreasonable. I know, I know … I failed. Sorry.
