Rick Santorum: Pretty Ricky Do-or-Die

It’s officially do-or-die time for Santorum (urr, yeah, he’s still running), and he needs to win two of these three races (Colorado, Minnesota, and Missouri) to keep his White House chances alive.

While the races in Colorado, Minnesota, and Missouri haven’t received the same kind of attention as the earlier states they however, are worth keeping in mind for one major reason…they give Governor Rick Santorum the opportunity to upset Mitt Romney because these particular states have more projected delegates at stake, a combined 76 total;you are probably thinking, but Santorum is already upsetting because he won’t go away…true perhaps, but I mean in the polls.

The question is what do we really know about “Pretty Ricky’s” realistic chances (you’ll have to think harder…even harder)?

Meanwhile, Mitt Romney’s campaign has already set their sight’s on Santorum by releasing a barrage of opposition research on Santorum’s campaign (still thinking about how realistic his chances are, don’t worry I’ll wait) a tactic that had previous been reserved for Newt Gingrich’s camp. Could this move possibly reflect the Romney campaign’s concern that the former Pennsylvania senator may pose a serious threat (don’t feel bad if for some reason you feel a sudden urge to laugh hysterically)? However, this is a campaign and the possibilities are endless.

Consider this illustration: The defending 2011 Super Bowl champions (The Green-bay Packers) were coming into Arrowhead Stadium with a 13-0 record, to beat this team with a losing record would be easy and nothing was going to stop them…except… something did, and that was they lost to the 5-8 Kansas City Chiefs.

Wait, what? Yes America, upsets are possible and Rick Santorum has the opportunity to be to Romney’s campaign a version of the Kansas City Chiefs…Will he pull it off, we’ll just have to wait and see!
